The Fargo HDP5000 duplex printer with lamination is certified as FIPS 201 compliant by the United States General Services Administration (GSA), and has been placed on the FIPS 201 Approved Products List (APL). This certification enables government agencies and other organizations to use Fargo’s HDP technology to comply with the FIPS 201 standard, as mandated by HSPD-12. This directive establishes a government-wide standard for ID card printing, for all federal employees and contractors.
